Acquired by Hewlett-Packard in 2002, Indigo continues to lead the digital printing market worldwide - and accounts for 0.5% of Israel’s GDP.
In 2003 Benny founded the Landa Group, today comprising 15 high-tech companies, with some 1800 employees. These include: Landa Labs, the Group’s research and innovation center; Landa Digital Printing, which produces mainstream digital printing presses; LUSIX, a leading producer of lab-grown diamonds; Landa Automotive Pigments, producing nano-pigments for the automotive industry; Lumet, which has developed the PV industry’s highest efficiency metallization technology for PV solar cells; and Landa Ventures, a portfolio of 10 high-tech companies in various fields from fuel cells to smart labels. Benny is Israel’s – and the printing industry’s – most prolific inventor, holding some 1,000 patents worldwide.
